The true Inflation Rate is probably closer to 17%, if the same Consumer Price Index that was in place during Jimmy Carter’s one term Presidency was still being used to calculate Inflation. In 1990 Rush had the temerity to say the
Bush Clan were actually Democrats! Said , for the good of both America and the party, the GOP should fire GHWB!
Several of Rush’s sponsors dropped him; some stations as well! The stations that kept him saw their market shares grow faster. After 6 months some of his WOKE sponsors asked to re sponsor. He said, “ OK. AT DOUBLE THE RATE!””! Some balked; Daimler said OK; it will be $ well spent! And reupted. As did many others.
Karl Marx at Fox was “spitting nails” for almost 3 years! (1)
The rapid growth resumed in mid ’14! And did so till death!

About 20 years ago some conservatives transformed CIS “Corkboards” into weBLOGS! I visited many that ar no longer here; “plain as THE NOSE ON YOUR FACE”. But some like IOTW grew!
RatherGate made BLOGS big! I was introduced to ACE by RatherGate. Some sharp exJarheads there! They proved that Dan fabricated the FAKE NEWS. *
So even though the MSM is much better at gaslighting today than they were in ’58 THEY ARE NOT NEARLY AS SUCCESSFUL! Thanks to BLOGS like IOTW!

Two years ago a dozen eggs (from the same store) was $1.09 – that’s a 174% increase.
