More than one-in-four U.S. voters are so alienated from their government that they believe it may “soon be necessary to take up arms” against it, according to a new survey.

Twenty-eight percent of the 1,000 registered U.S. voter in the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics survey released Thursday agreed and said yes to the question.

In a partisan breakdown, one-in-three Republicans and Independent voters held that view, compared to one-in-five Democrats, the survey also found. More

Whatever happens, the deep state left is definitely provoking it, thinking they hold all of the cards and will prevail, but I’m not so sure of that. All we can do is be prepared for the worst.     The soap box didn’t work. Many people are too stupid and brainwashed (including many of my relatives).
    Let’s see if the ballot box works in November. Most people (who care) know the election was stolen in 2020. If we can’t win the house and senate this time it’s obvious they stole it too.
    When good people realize the ballot box doesn’t work any more let’s hope they know what they have to do. There’s only one box left.

  10. The gov’t well know the stats and reality of who is doing the murdering with guns in our republic, and it ain’t overwhelmingly NRA members and legal gun owners. Their rationale for imposing stricter gun laws is not based upon their ignorance of this reality or on their sheer nonsense. In some part of their reptile brains they can appreciate just how enraging is their tyrannical and corrupt rule and in that limbic intelligence, they rightfully are afraid of us.

    I have a special place in my heart for the 4th. I used to travel and move around a lot. Sometimes I lived in less than desirable neighborhoods.

    Wherever I was I made the smallest of efforts on the 4th. I got fireworks and let the local kids shoot them off. I’ll skip all the emotions and reasons these kids had “the best 4th ever” as I’ve been repeatedly told. But, suffice it to say no kids got smacked or yelled at.

    Plus….I always get the most dangerous and illegal fireworks available. No boring smoke snakes or “safe and sane” crap at my house.

    It’s a party baby, bring safety goggles.
