Ahead of the rally former President Donald Trump was scheduled to have in Arizona (later postponed due to the death of Ivana Trump), the Fox News website posted a stunning three-minute video featuring a host of Trump supporters in Maricopa County talking about ditching him in 2024 for Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL).
The incredible montage features a group of Arizona voters who — saved for one identified as Beverly who enthusiastically backed a Trump 2024 bid — all said they wanted to see Trump sit it out next time and identified DeSantis as the person they want to take over the party.
“I like what he stands for; I like what he does,” said one voter, identified as Jeff. “But he upset too many people, and he upset them really bad. So I don’t think he’s good for the party.”
The media is afraid of Trump. And they are also afraid of Trump followed by DeSantis for 8 years. 2036 with no Democrat president? That’s a good start.

It is clear they are attacking MAGA every way they can, making it look like Trump has no support. What is the chance they steal the Gov primary now that Pence is there for Lake’s opponent to say the end of MAGA.
TRUMP needs to go in with a vengeance and start the cleanout process. Teeth bared, hackles up, fists out. KICK SOME AZZ. Get a damned good start then let DeSantis take over the next 4 and finish the job !!

I remember, about 24 months into his term, Donald John said several times (about the Deep State), “It’s far worse than anyone can imagine!”. I believe that if there had been a way for him to circumvent their BS, he would have. I watched every one of his cabinet meetings and the reports back from his secretaries. They tried, oh boy how they tried. They were met with every kind of resistance and betrayal from within. Still, look at all the winning that happened! This next time around, he’ll be that much more strategic with his personnel choices and that much more tactical with his plans. The only possible way I’d vote for anyone else would be if he didn’t run.
And a warning: I’ve been through two years of defending Trump to all comers. It wasn’t hard to do. As far as I’m concerned he’s still a street smart genius who can turn all Brandon’s and O’Blowme’s devastation around.

He did. Having the election stolen from him derailed the effort. IMO, any last vestige of lack of resolve amongst the coup plotters was wiped out in October 2020 when President Trump issued Executive Order 13957 “Creating Schedule F in the Excepted Service”.

If a Republican is successful and fulfills promises, he will be labeled as being divisive — and RINOs and many conservatives will say that person needs to be replaced. Then they will go out and find another McCain or Romney and set the country back for years as Democrats charge ahead. They also forget that when a wimp is the nominee, he is portrayed as being divisive as well.
I remember reading a question asking why the Republicans don’t nominate a woman because the Dems would not be harsh toward a woman — completely forgetting how they treated Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann. I am sure their justification for that would be that they were terrible people who deserved to be destroyed.
