Well, not just that, but hoodrat neighborhoods in DC, like the U Street corridor, and the shit around the new stadium, and NY Ave, the hoodrats were taxed out of those areas. The hoodrats spread out into the surrounding counties and continued to be a burden on humanity.
The shit that moved in pays far more taxes and is happy to.

Erik, in the late 60s-early 70s, democrat child molester-mayor began a process of buying up cheap, multi-family properties in outer east Portland. At the same time they were buying devastated inner city property with urban renewal dollars. A large percent of society’s ills were moved out of the city core. Crime rate exploded in outer city, calmed down in core. What a coincidence, huh? Oh, one more thing: All those Section 8 properties in east county are exempt from property taxes. Refurbished , inner core properties suddenly don’t have crime and they’re sold to people willing to pay exorbitant property taxes. See a pattern?
The Republican’s are always telling folks to ditch the blue state’s where they have been voting Democrat since Jesus was a carpenter. Careful what you wish for. Because it seems that many of these liberal voters are doing just that. And they are bringing their politics with them. Once the new area is infested & destroyed, it will be time to pack up & move on to the next target.
