The Primetime Emmy Awards‘ ratings “rebound” is over.
After ceasing a seven-year audience slide in 2021, this Monday’s telecast of TV’s biggest night drew just 5.9 million total viewers to NBC, down 24 percent from last time around to mark an all-time low.
In the demo, Monday night’s show pulled a 1.1 rating, down sharply from last year’s 1.8.
TVLine readers gave the telecast an average grade of “C,” while Kenan Thompson earned as “D” as host.
The Emmys’ previous all-time audience low, of 6.4 million, was set in 2020 by the first pandemic-era, virtual ceremony on ABC. Last year’s Emmycast, on CBS, improved 16 percent on that nadir.
The last time NBC hosted the ceremony, in 2018 and also on a Monday night, the audience totaled 10.2 million — which at the time was a historic low. more here

I think I have watched the Emmys maybe once. Any award that has categories such as “Best situation comedy shown on Tuesday between 8:30 and 9:00” is not an award to take seriously.

Well, I watched it. Watching the left make fools of themselves is entertaining to me. As you can guess the Emmys this year was disastrous.
From the tranny announcer nobody’s heard of, to the opening by a very unfunny SNL comedian, Kenan Thompson, to the narcissistic, sickening, idiot personalities – Jimmy Kimmel, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Jennifer Coolidge for example (they were the worst of many), the whole show deserved low ratings and cancelation.
Didn’t watch all three hours but what I saw was nothing but leftard self gratification.
An LA radio station announcer was about to have an organism telling his audience that the whole country was going gaaga over last night’s Awards show. Oh, really? Not one word was mentioned in the 4 or 5 dozen conservative sites I visit daily. Is that great or what? Went to an LA newspaper to deliver a steaming load of sarcasm. Seems I musta been censored. Still nothing today. My feelings are hurt. Dang.
What the hell’s wrong with you people? All across America dog walkers are pretending not to notice that Fifi just dropped a deuce on the sidewalk. Those dog walkers are not one bit concerned that innocent walkers are going to step in a pile of Carl Reiner’s brains. Those guilty dog walkers would rather concern themselves with a Hollywood participation trophy.
