Ball barely made it to the warning track.
I like how the 3rd base coach let him Cadillac.

Man, I hate when that happens – thas jus bout ery speech I ever make ………..
Let him celebrate and then relentlessly bust his chops. That’s how men do it.
My father really liked baseball. He probably could have made it into the majors (ala Joe Garagiola) during World War II if he hadn’t enlisted.
He could never understand the rule that a runner had to touch all the bases when going backwards — that was until I told him of a game I saw on TV.
There was a runner on first. Mike Schmidt nailed the ball. It was thirty feet in the air when it was almost to the wall. Then the Lord put his hand down saying “I don’t feel like seeing a home run right now.” The ball then dropped straight down into the left fielder’s glove for an out.
The runner was around third when that happened and had to turn around and run back around the bases to first. As I recall he made it.
Good one.
Give it to him.
He identifies as a homerun hitter.
😀
He’s going to remember that for as long as he lives! And if he forgets there will be someone to remind him.
A legend in his own mind. Jeffrey Leonard would have been proud.

Always expecting something for nothing.
Never Ass Sume!!
You can tell he is not in the MLB, he actually ran (kind of) around the bases. Unlike these lazy pros that can’t make an effort in what is barely considered a sport (by me)
