Florida Prosecutor Backed by Soros Loses Bid to Get his Job Back After Suing Desantis Administration

Trending Politics-

In August 2022, Governor DeSantis suspended 13th Circuit State Attorney Andrew Warren for refusing to enforce Florida’s new abortion law and picking and choosing which laws to enforce. At the time, Warren said his suspension “spits in the face” of the voters in Hillsborough county who elected him twice.

After fighting to be reinstated, a federal judge on Monday denied the motion to immediately reinstate him as State Attorney because he said he would not enforce the state’s abortion laws.

The action to suspend Warren follows a decision in Indiana to remove a prosecutor from a case where the prosecutor, like Warren, refused, in writing, that he wouldn’t press charges if Indiana’s new abortion law is violated.

In Florida, US District Judge Robert Hinkle denied Warren’s motion for a preliminary injunction. He also rejected the state’s motion to dismiss Warren’s claims regarding his 1st Amendment rights and granted the state’s motion to dismiss his state law claims.

  1. He was an employee that refused to do his job and was fired for not doing his job. Now it’s BOO HOO HOO. No one has a ‘right’ to not do their job and not expect to get serious repercussions in return.
Your typical Democrat that believes he doesn’t have to follow the rules that everyone else does.

  2. Most gov’t employees who won’t (or can’t) do their jobs are pretty much left to sit at their desks and eat donuts, smoke dope, snort meth, or sleep.
This maggot lawyer is probably making more from Soros kickbacks, graft, and under-the-table deals than his salary is worth – but without the office, the kickbacks, graft, and under-the-table deals dissipate – he becomes just another maggot lawyer.
Thankfully, there’s at least ONE judge who is interested in justice.

Good on Gov. DeSantis – he ain’t scairt.

…the prosecutor is an asshole, but that’s not the real problem here.

Whoever built this sentence, “… remove a prosecutor from a case where the prosecutor, like Warren, refused, in writing, that he wouldn’t press charges…” needs to go back to grammar school.

“Refused, in writing, that he wouldn’t press charges”, apart from being quite awkward and not scanning properly, kind of makes it look like he wrote that he “refused that he wouldn’t press charges”, so it looks more like he WOULD press charges.

Spell check is one thing, making a sentence that says what you want to say is another.

This writer can do better. Proofreading is your friend.

  4. …I’m guessing that, if I gave my employer a letter stating that I wasn’t going to do the job I was hired to do, that she’d give me one back, a nice pink one and some COBRA paperwork to go with.

I don’t know what this guy expected. Do your job, or lose it. It’s that simple.

If you don’t like the job, go work somewhere else.

That’s how it works in the rest of the world. No reason it shouldn’t be that was in the AG’s office as well.
