Sharon Osbourne wants her Black Lives Matter donation back, and says she agrees with Kanye West’s statement that BLM is a “scam.”
Sharon was shopping at Yves Saint Laurent on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills when reporters asked for her opinion on the “White Lives Matter” messaging that West put on blast, according to TMZ. Osbourne admitted she had no idea what the messaging even meant.
“I don’t understand it. It’s not my thing, it’s not my culture, I don’t understand any of it,” Osbourne said. A TMZ reporter then pressed Osbourne on Ye’s comment that BLM is a “scam.”
“Oh well, we gave $900,000 to that and, um, I’d like my money back!” she said, according to the video.

@Rich Taylor — Did you watch the interview with Carlson? It was pretty powerful, I thought. West describes the insidious “handling” to which a celebrity is subjected; that his/her public persona and opinions are put through a phalanx of know-nothings who beat the Leftist drum. It was very interesting to glimpse into his world of “branding” and what a misplaced opinion or misspoken endorsement means in high-stakes fandom. If West seems inarticulate, it’s because — as he put it — the result of extreme self-censorship; knowing that using the wrong word can bring it all tumbling down around one’s ears.
I applaud West’s efforts at maturing in his faith in Jesus, who warned that it’s not easy for a rich man to enter into Heaven. West knows this and is walking a spiritual tightrope. He has enormous courage. He knows as a major social influencer, he was born in such a time as this for the purpose of using his influence for good. He said as much to Tucker Carlson. He knows he could lose everything and yet he’s put his faith in the only person who deserves that faith. It’s a lot easier said than done.
