One North Carolina school district is ruling out further volleyball competitions against one opponent after a player suffered an injury last month in a match against a team with a transgender athlete.

Girls went along with playing against a team with a guy on it. Not a peep out of any of them until someone got hurt. Is that what it’s gonna take, someone getting knocked silly by a guy? Too afraid to speak out, so be it.

My daughters and granddaughters all played volleyball. The Grands played in college volleyball.
I have seen 100 games, more or less, I have never seen anything like this hit from a player. The velocity of the ball must have been over the top, and it is a semi solid ball, not like a basketball.
She just needs to rub a little dirt on it.
I used to play a lot of volleyball. One event I jumped up and gently tapped the ball over the net and the fucker on the other side couldn’t get to it fast enough and decided it was a game of soccer and kicked the ball super hard square into my face. Man oh man it hurt like a mofo, I was seeing stars. I wasn’t able to play the rest of the event and had a hard time keeping my balance while standing for a couple hours. Those balls can be dangerous. He never apologized for it either, real class act.
Better put a steak on that.
