Biden Gets Blasted for Racist Comment About Airline Seats

Red State: We’re just under two weeks to the midterm election. You would think that Joe Biden — as the alleged “leader” of the Democratic Party would be going all-in for all of the Democratic candidates. However, most of the candidates –wisely– don’t seem to want him to be anywhere near them as they struggle to distance themselves from the failed policies of Biden and the Democratic Party, particularly when it comes to inflation, the most important issue for most Americans.

But for more than a year, Biden lied about inflation — calling it transitory or blaming it on Vladimir Putin, but not doing anything to reduce it, indeed, making it worse by more spending.

What was he concerned about on Wednesday? Not the inflation that is harming all Americans, but a move to get rid of airline “junk fees” for roomier seats which he claimed were “unfair” to “people of color.” more here

  8. An interesting note is that extra fees were added to avoid the federal excise tax on air travel and other federal fees that add up to 16-24 % of the cost of an airline ticket. American Airlines got the federal government to “clarify”/say that the tax would only be charged on Mandatory fees so all optional fees such as seat reservations fees, checked baggage fees, etc. were exempted from the excise tax. The federal government also forced airlines to include the federal fees to be hidden in the advertised ticket cost that comes up in the search so that no one would know how much the federal government had raised the cost of flying. So in practice charging extra for fee for a higher class or extra baggage actually saves the flyer money over placing it in the fare. now Biden wants to blame airlines for something the government is solely responsible for creating.

  11. Have you ever seen one of those little cages by the gate desk that you have to fit your carry-on in? If your bag is too big, you have to check it.

    There should be a similar contraption for seats. If you can’t sit in it without your fat self oozing over into an adjacent seat’s space, you should have to check yourself and ride in the cargo hold.
