Former President Barack Obama urged Pennsylvanians to vote for Democratic candidates in the November midterm elections during a campaign ad, just days after Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman struggled during his debate with Republican Mehmet Oz.
Obama told Pennsylvanians that their midterm vote would shape the future of American democracy and women’s abortion rights, according to the 15-second ad, which was obtained by Axios.
“So when the fate of our democracy and a woman’s right to choose are on the line, vote Democrat on Nov. 8,” Obama said. more

That ‘women’s rights’ thing isn’t a priority just now. High escalating crime of all sorts, high prices on everything, finacial insecurity and others are what’s on peoples’ minds.
Remember in 2005 during “A Concert for Hurricane Relief” when a rapper no one had heard of (and now wish we still hadn’t) said “George Bush doesn’t care about black people”, and NBC couldn’t switch over fast enough to Chris Tucker, who had to quickly start his part of the show while pretending the 75 seconds of live broadcast that was just shown to millions of people didn’t happen?

They screwed the pooch when Donald Trump forced them to radically accelerate their agenda. He put them off their game and they have fallen and can’t get up. They were already in crisis mode because the factions in the intersectionality derby were already engaged in internecine battles they had hoped would not commence until after they had exploited each for all they could get and had solidified their grasp on power. Once Trump came on the scene they were in a hell of a pickle. Throw in the useful idiots not being managed due to dealing with Trump and all hell broke loose on the sonsabitches.
Obama is not wanting to expend much, if any, political capital in this Charlie Foxtrot. He has a brand to protect.
OK, the somewhat sane Democrats are going to pivot hard to the right coming out of this election, that is going to set off a shitstorm of a disaster of Biblical proportions in Seattle, Portland and the communist strongholds around the country. The best course of action for Republicans is to stay the hell out of it and the worst they could do is throw in with the Democrats who are feigning sanity. Pursue a Constitutionality conservative agenda and leave it at that. Make the Democrats who recognize that the American public has had a belly full of the fucking nonsense come onboard and do not give them any opportunity to set the agenda or control the narrative. Period. Full stop.
