    It would SEEM to say that the security guard knocked himself out, then was able to detain the suspect.

    Neat trick if you can do it.

    …and yes, I know what they mean, but if you’re a “news” service, you should communicate better.

    …also, even as MEANT it sure doesn’t make the security guard too much a hero.

    I would be more worried if he were NOT able to detain a suspect who had just knocked himself out.

    And on a side note, didn’t see too much first aid training in the guard’s response. It still behooves you as “The Good Guy” to make sure the bad guy continues breathing, whether you want to or not.

    But pretty poor planning on the kid’s part, too.

    Just walk over to the door.

    Then walk out.

    Its also not technically thieving until you physically leave the store.

    So no reason for the LeMans start at all.
