The Brazilian military stands with Bolsonaro… is prepared to invoke Article 142

Revolver: Sometimes it seems like nothing ever happens, but this seems like it could be a big deal…

Background: The Brazilian people have flooded the streets in protest at an allegedly rigged and stolen election. Truckers are blocking all highways. Farmers have blocked all ports from exporting agriculture. Bolsonaro has exhausted his legal options, with his election appeal being rejected by a corrupt, opposition-appointed Chief Supreme Court justice. Bolsonaro is now huddling with the military to plot his next moves. Watch:

  1. Let’s see.
Stolen election being overturned by the military.
    Smells like Mega Maga!
Tastes like Mega Maga with salsa.

We can only hope the Brazilians come and rescue us.

  2. Looks like the commies in Brazil forgot to infiltrate the military with woke officers before trying to steal an election. I guess our CIA was too busy helping the dems steal the midterms, and forgot all about Brazil.

  3. The role of the military throughout Latin America is to establish order. They are the safety valve and that power is included in most constitutions. All decisions and actions by the street are based on the underlying notion that the military will step in and fix things if they go too far.

Because of this, purging and total control of the military and police is paramount in the plans of any budding socialist dictator. Chavez proved the point. Correa and Morales are cautionary tales. Morales was able to correct it. Correa is still trying.

When the NYT article refers to Brazilians as suffering under military rule, it is ironic that that period was considered to have been the apex of Brazilian greatness. The generals did do some very stupid things, but they provided an environment of security that enabled economic, cultural and societal advancement.

The fact that the Left in Brasil have only been able to remain significant through their dominance in the courts is evidence of their general lack of support. This election was entirely scripted by the Left and the Supreme Court.

If Lula is installed as President, the people will revolt. The Courts could still win by playing Mega Whack-a-Mole, which has been successful so far. I think the military has had enough of the farce.

Brasil must restore the Courts. I don’t know if it is possible. Just getting rid of de Moraes and purging his acolytes would be a big step forward.

    HEY!

    I resemble that remark!
