  1. I used to think being an odd shaped block that didn’t fit into the normal holes was a disadvantage . Now I see it as a blessing as I find myself quite independent of the “normal” thinking that is more easily programmed.

  2. ‘“I thought you said you could just read his brain electronically,” protested Ford.

“Oh yes,” said Frankie, “but we’d have to get it out first. It’s got to be prepared.”

    “Treated,” said Benjy.

    “Diced.”

“Thank you,” shouted Arthur, tipping up his chair and backing away from the table in horror.

“It could always be replaced,” said Benjy reasonably, “if you think it’s important.”

“Yes, an electronic brain,” said Frankie, “a simple one would suffice.”

    “A simple one!” wailed Arthur.

“Yeah,” said Zaphod with a sudden evil grin, “you’d just have to program it to say What? and I don’t understand and Where’s the tea? Who’d know the difference?”

“What?” cried Arthur, backing away still farther.

“See what I mean?” said Zaphod, and howled with pain because of something that Trillian did at that moment.

“I’d notice the difference,” said Arthur.

“No, you wouldn’t,” said Frankie mouse, “you’d be programmed not to.”’

  3. a friend of mine that worked for Commodore computers in their early days, used to say: ‘don’t change the program, change the documentation.’
that’s what the msm does- they feed you what they themselves willingly ($$$) are programmed to have you believe.

  5. Back in the 60s Liberals were all singing about “little boxes of different colors all made out of ticky-tacky, and which all look just the same”… along with students getting rubber-stamped thru the school system. It was supposed to be satire then…

Today’s hypocritical Liberals are now “In-The-Business” of moulding our kids and society into a monolithic, Communist platform where there is no place for individualism, excellence and independent thought!

90 years ago Groucho Marx wuz right about Progressives/Liberals –
I don’t know what they have to say
    It makes no difference anyway
Whatever it is, I’m against it
No matter what it is or who commenced it
    I’m against it

    Your proposition may be good
But let’s have one thing understood:
Whatever it is, I’m against it
And even when you’ve changed it or condensed it
    I’m against it

    All went to the university
And they all get put in boxes
    Little boxes all the same

And there’s doctors and there’s lawyers
    And business executives
And they all get put in boxes
And they all come out the same
