Emails newly obtained by a watchdog group reveal that the social networking platform Facebook directly colluded with the Biden Administration regarding talking points about COVID-19, the vaccines, and other related matters in order to “get ahead” of any alleged “misinformation.”
As reported by the Daily Caller, the documents secured by the New Civil Liberties Alliance (NCLA) reveal the full extent of the Big Tech platform’s communications with the White House, after new revelations emerged regarding the possibility of fatal blood clots as a side effect of the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
After the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a joint statement in April of 2021 announcing a pause on all J&J vaccines after 6 adult women developed blood clots, a Facebook employee sent an email to the administration’s COVID czar, Andrew Slavitt, asking for “any messaging” that the social media site could promote on behalf of the administration. The email included Rob Flaherty, the White House’s Director of Digital Strategy, and Courtney Rowe, Director of Strategic Communications and Engagement for the COVID-19 Response Team.
“Re the J+J news, we’re keen to amplify any messaging you want us to project about what this means for people – it obviously has the risk of exacerbating vaccine hesitancy, so we’re keen to get ahead of the knock-on effect,” the Facebook employee wrote. “Don’t hesitate to tell me – or via your teams – how we can help you provide clarity/reassurance via Facebook.” MORE
