  1. I’ve got a 500 watts per side of about a hundred fifty lbs of Hafler 500s feeding to two separate systems in my house. Not just to enjoy me some Jeff Beck, but they don’t run at more than a fast idle for much else these days. No one can get the tones out of a Strat like Jeff Beck.

  2. I heard. So sad.
    He was a giant.
Huge influence on all of us.
All the way back to when we were teenagers.
I’m afraid we’re going to see a lot more of our heroes going.

  3. He put a teenage chick bass player named Tal Wilkenfeld on the map a just a few years ago. Since we can’t link, punch her name into the youtube for the shows he did with her….fantastic.

  5. Carlos, was just thinking about that song. Rod on lyrics & Jeff playing. Doesn’t get much better than that. They didn’t have a great personal relationship (according to Rod’s autobiography) but they respected the hell out of each other. And Rod acknowledges that Beck taking him on tour in the US was one hell of a career booster.

    RIP, legend.
