The Chinese military is equipping soldiers stationed in Tibet with newly developed helmets embedded with a self-destruct button.

The button triggers an embedded bomb to go off, killing the soldier.

“At a battalion or brigade level command center, a commander monitors a soldier who is far away by using the navigation system.     Anyone caught tampering with their issued helmet, trying to disconnect the kill switch, and it’s 6 months in the Uyghur camp cleaning toilets.

    As crazy as this sounds, you got to respect them for increasing their lethality wrt killing the enemy. Our commanders are all about pronoun positivity, race relations, and bathroom etiquette.

  25. Not to knock the Epoch Times, but the last year has seen some lurid propaganda concerning the militaries of Russia and Ukraine, most of which has proven to be bullshit. I’m going to let this this particular Chinese Helmet story age for awhile, because it’s too perfect, and it’s got that “Ghost of Kiev” and “Putin is Dying” ring to it, and what with China being our new Sworn Enemy and everything, the journos might be getting fed the brown acid by the IC.

  31. No Sirs, we are more humane here. I say existing tech is sufficient, an ankle bracelet with det cord on the strap. Tamper with it and you get a cauterized stump to walk on, connect it to a microphone and program the onboard AI to go off when it detects the individual uttering a lie, now put them on every congresscritter and the top 4 tiers of every government bureau. Just watch how fast things go right.
