Group A is stupid by the definition in the video. The others are evil, in that, their basic premises are stupid but are used to enrich or empower themselves.

I’ve put some thought into that and there seems to be two predominant patterns. The first is the moron lawyer who can’t make a living chasing ambulances so the next logical step is politics. Where the real money is. They’re good at lying thru their teeth and they can talk pretty.
The next is the school board path. Self explanatory.

There are several paths to this outcome; none are the decision of the subject.
Path No. 1: A person is employed and found able to complete the most basic of tasks, and is thus promoted. This repeats until he is promoted into a level of incompetence, where the employee stays for all eternity thanks to lawyers.
Path no. 2: Nepotism.
Path No. 3: Due to government grants, one can be hired to a management position *because* he is stupid (by some DSM5+ alias).
Path No. 4: The stupid gets elected (fair or otherwise, governmental ((with emphasis on mental)) or otherwise) by his own kind.
Path No. 5: Dumb (by any name) luck.
I’m certain there are some I’m missing. After all, Brawndo’s got what plants crave!

There is always the talent some have of being able to jam their heads up other’s asses who are on the way up. I see it at the corporation I work for.
I believe this is how corporations die. When salespeople get into positions of authority. All they know how to do is throw sales pitches and hope something sticks. Once they get into positions of power they promote the next wave of people just like them because that’s all they know and “It must good because that’s how I got here.” Politicians are like sales people, selling a bunch of BS for votes.
So, it must kill countries too, just a little slower.
Sturge, I think we suffer from another mode. Like Biden and Fetterman, they are picked and installed by The Machine particularly because they are stupid.
Since they can’t think for themselves, they are loyal- and grateful – lackeys faithfully doing the bidding of their overlords.
Presentations like that make me feel stupid for watching them. 30 seconds and out.

You guys are missing one, incompetent a holes are promoted up with glowing reviews in order to get rid of them and away from the place they’re in. See most large corporations and military for examples.
