  1. So the news here is that a partisan crowd voted for a popular former president against a man who has not even declared his candidacy yet?
In a POLL, mind you, a poll!

Let’s find the closest head-to-head comparison shall we?
Florida 2020: Trump wins by 3.4 points
Florida 2022: DeSantis wins by 19.4 points

BTW, President John Kerry, President Hillary Clinton, President Al Gore, and President Jeb Bush all enjoyed early poll wins from partisan crowds as well.

Not saying DeSantis beats Trump in head to head, at this point.
Just saying it’s VERY early for Trump to pound his chest.

  2. Personally I don’t care who wins the Trump/DeSantis brawl. Policies are essentially the same.

All that either of them has to do is to say they won’t have dudes with shaved heads in red lipstick and red dresses they stole from the airport or a seriously ugly dude in a Navy dress in my cabinet.

Or more simply put, this administration will not suffer fools or be a freak show. Or even more simply put, we will no longer be the embarrassing laughingstock to the world.

We can talk policy specifics but there’s not a lot of daylight between the two. The other ‘candidates’ should disappear.

  3. Trump – “I know the battleground, all the bad actors, and I plan to destroy them”

DeSantis – “I screwed up Disney and the Wokies”

Ron, please step aside and let PDJT work his stuff… please

  4. Pompeo went on Fox News Sunday this morning and slammed Trump for his reckless spending during his administration. Adding 8 trillion dollars to the national debt, Pompeo said that was reckless and not conservative. Although he has not said he is running, any candidate that talks about the national debt and the importance of fiscal solvency will always have my ear.
