Chicago Public Schools implicitly endorses ‘looting and burning’ as a form of equity

Wirepoints-

Here’s a good litmus test for where Chicago’s two mayoral candidates stand on K-12 education: Do they support Chicago Public Schools featuring the “How Can We Win? video on its official webpage?

The video is one of the “Tools” on the Office of Equity page and it involves an impassioned tirade from activist Kimberly Jones – speaking a few days after George Floyd’s murder – about rising up and burning down communities.

It’s an outright, unapologetic defense of rioting and looting as an entitlement and a straight up endorsement of victimization. That blacks have no hope, that they “can’t win” and there is nothing left to do but burn and loot.

“How can you win? You can’t win, the game is fixed. So when they say ‘why do you burn down the community, why do you burn down your own neighborhood?’ It’s not ours. We don’t own anything. We don’t own anything there is.”

“All I could focus on was whatever the hell is attached to the side of her head.”
Different Tim, I lost the other piece that I attach to the other side of my head during a mostly peaceful demonstration. Hope this clears up any confusion. Regards, Kim

  2. Did she happen to give out her home address for the burn and looting?
    Didn’t think so.
She looks like she won all you eat freebies. Living large on other people’s money.

  3. Start by looting the homes & offices of the of all the members of the Chicago Board of Education, next, the principles & counselors homes & offices.
Think of it as reparations from those who failed you. Go Get It.
    GO GET YOURS NOW

…well, if we follow this “logic”, the Goverment demonstrated rather authoritatively with mask mandates, lockdowns, and vaxxx coercion as well as limiting what medical choices we can make for OURSELVES even WITH a doctor’s prescription, that in the view of our Democrat masters WE DO NOT OWN OUR OWN BODIES.

    That includes YOU, KimChunk.

…so, if you TRULY believe you should burn down stuff to protest the fact that you don’t own it and never WILL own it, well, guess you’d best be taking care of that too, the only way you appear to know how, byeeeee…..

  5. Brandon Johnson is CTU all the way. If elected he would be almost another Lightfoot but in OTHER terrible ways. I know Paul Vallas is an Obama-Clinton bot, BUT he actually HAS Police in the family including his wife. So yeah, PAUL VALLAS for Mayor to at LEAST SLOW THE DECLINE.

  6. the anarchy is nearly complete. fortunately we still have citizens of sound judgment capable of maintaining civility. pick your friends carefully and maintain a policy of “ears and eyes open, mouth shut”.

  7. Looters: “As long as we’re focusing on what they’re doing we’re not focusing on why they’re doing it.”

Why? One word answer—starts with N and ends with S. Wanna buy a vowel?

  8. We all saw the J6 crowd in the Capital walking casually and respectfully or milling around and talking.
Now imagine what we would have seen if that crowd had been mostly Black!
