Leftists ‘Eviscerated’ Pro-Trump Yuengling. Now They’re Desperate to Defend Foreign-Owned Bud Light

Left-wing activists and journalists have by turns condemned and mocked the backlash against Bud Light – but they weren’t so shy about dragging conservative beer-makers through the mud themselves.

Yuengling: American Beer.

National Pulse:

The left – now alleging “it’s just beer!” – viciously attacked then-73-year-old Dick Yuengling after he told Eric Trump “our guys are behind your father” in 2016. Yuengling’s family have been running the Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville, Pennsylvania – the oldest in America – for five generations.

“GOOD BYE, Yuengling Brewery,” raged Brian Simms, a gay Democrat state legislator.

“Supporting Yuengling Brewery, that uses my dollars to bolster a man, and an agenda, that wants to punish me for being a member of the LGBT community and punish the black and brown members of my community for not being white, is something I’m too smart and too grown up to do,” he ranted at the time.

“D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. believes that an agenda that is anti-woman, anti-immigrant, anti-LGBT, anti-racial minority and anti-equality is best for them and that tells me all I need to know about what they think is best for their own customers.”

  1. I drank one of these about a year ago at a place called Knucklehead’s in Jerome, PA. It was pretty good. I was there to see a group called White Horse play.

  2. Yuengling said the ‘boycott’ didn’t harm them at all, much like the recent attempted boycott of Goya Foods.

Good beer, my beer of choice since the early 2000s.

  3. “…uses my dollars to bolster a man, and an agenda, that wants to punish me for being a member of the LGBT community….”

What an F-ing moron. Doesn’t he know that Trump supports homosexual marriage and that he sent Elton John a congratulations message when he ‘married’ his partner? These peoples’ heads are so far up someplace that they don’t get enough O2 to their brains.

And as soon as I can Monday I’m going to get me some Yuengling beer (and I haven’t had a beer for many months).

  4. I went on my First Mountain Bike ride after the ICE/SNOW melt today.

    Hey, I’m not Dead, Yet.

Afterwards I Stopped off at Caledon Hills Brewing & bought a Mix of Homemade/Craft Brewing from a Nice Privately Owned German Family.

The Old Crew was still there from last year. Mom & Pop are VERY CHRISTIAN and friendly. The beer is FANTASTIC with about 6 different varieties at any Given Time. There was a lineup of about 12 people waiting for them to open at 12 O’clock.

I was HAPPY to Fork over my Money!

I also booked a table for Mothers day. The Duck Wings are Out-of-This-World!

    Go independent.

    CHEERS!

  5. I’ll have to look and see if Yuengling is out here in the hinterlands of Utah.
Buuuut, if not, there’s plenty of non-woke craft beers here. Wasatch, Squatters, Uinta, Red Rock, Moab, a dozen others, all worthy of support.
And if you know any early Utah and Mormon history, some of the names of the beers themselves are hilarious.

  6. Oh! Now, when a Penn State frat-boy asks me, “Wanna see my Yuengling?”
I won’t kick him in the balls at the ΚΣ House and then ask him to show it to me.

  7. Had a Black and Tan boilermaker today. Actually, I think it was Kcir who turned me on to Yuengling when I wanted to know a decent Guinness knock off. Been drinking Black and Tan’s ever since.

  8. …that wants to punish me for being a member of the LGBT community and punish the black and brown members of my community for not being white…

No. You punish yourselves by being degenerate shitbags.

  9. I don’t drink beer anymore because I have a problem with yeast.

Go ahead and make your jokes… until you get a problem with yeast.

Anyway, the best beer on earth, and probably the universe was Flying Dog, Double Dog IPA. 12.5% and tasted like fresh squeezed green pine cones.

  10. Don Jr. came out with “leave Bud Light alone” recently.
    This is why we lose.
Instead of burying the bastards as a warning to other woke companies, A-B gave some money to Trump Inc. so Don Jr. caved like a little bitch.
Trump is bought & paid for.
    It’s over.
Nobody is coming to save the Republic.

  11. Brad, it fucks me up. I get sick as shit. I get a thrush, and sores on my knees, and my guts go all bloody and worse. I don’t miss bread, but I do miss the good beers from time to time.

Well I guess the good news is at our age we don’t need the carbs. I don’t eat bread anymore either because the cooked most my ability to salivate. Including Pizza. Which I kind off miss. LOL

  13. YOU Brad are the one who is calling a patriot, best governor in the nation, a conservative family man a woman’s name as an insult.
You think women are nothing but inferior bitches.
I suppose that’s all you have.
Sucks to be you with no substantial arguments.

  14. Is it just I or is there a detectable odor of grievances and money-tary mal-evolance in some of these posts.

Someone sounds as if they lost or are losing enough money to make them squeal.

  15. Oh man, just read the write-up about Disney vs DeSantis.
Those mouse-motherfuckers will rue the day they took on THE Florida Governator!
No, you bastards cannot repeal Florida law and should have stayed in your fucking lane.
    F-A-F-O!
    They are TOAST!
    Vatican status: CANCELLED!
    Bwhahahaha!
    Disney and Trumpers hardest hit!

  16. If I choose to drink a beer, it’s Yuengling.
And I don’t care who endorses it or not.
Far superior to any Bud product and it’s actually an American beer.

  17. Yuengling is not available in the St. Louis area, but as snowbirds in Florida, I enjoyed it. Last year we moved to the sunshine state and Yuengling announced they were expanding to the St. Louis market. Figures!
