  1. Al, I think he might have been the keyboard player. I could be wrong, but I picture him with quite long, straight hair, and robes type of clothes. I couldn’t stand yes.

  2. absolutely wonderful that ‘Yes’ got in the R&R HoF before Doobie Brothers, Dire Straits, Moody Blues, The Zombies, The Cars, Stevie Nicks, Whitney Houston, Nine Inch Nails, Tina Turner, Foo Fighters & Carole King (ffs)

  3. Not going to bother listening, the “rock & roll hall of fame” is crap. Yes on the other hand had some incredible music. Nothing like Starship Trooper from Yes Songs, just love that album, that’s right album!

  4. I generally like the introductions given at the R&R Hall of Fame.
Jimmy Page introducing Def Leppard was well done.
Drew Barrymore intro to The Go-Go’s was funny.

Of course many of these intros get pulled off YouTube because of greedy assholes .

  5. LOL!
If other awards ceremonies were more like this instead of woke people might watch them.

I won a dance contest and got tickets to see them at Boston Garden when I was about 15.
They had one of the first laser light shows.

  6. Not related. He sounds British. My family’s been here for hundreds of years. I’ve been asked many times. I am not familiar with his music or Yes.

  7. He said he was from a family of entertainers. He was entertaining the audience, vs bragging, or pontificating, or boring all to death.
Compared to the millions of metric tons of hot air typically spewed at awards ceremonies, his humor was a breath of fresh air.

  8. “Roundabout” is one of the more beautiful pieces of Rock and Roll ever. You may not like Yes (for whatever reason) but there’s no denying talent and skill.
