3. Ya’ll gotta catch my pitbull and our chickens. She’s submissive to them because the chickens constantly reward her with their shit. It’s gross. When they were little 5-day old chicks, she knocked over their box and cleaned up. Chicks left unharmed.. sooooo cute. lol.

4. I took in a hutch of wild bunnies. Mom killed by a cat. My dog usually hunts and kills rabbits and hares but she snapped into mother mode with the tiny nestlings. last time she had pups was thirteen years ago.

   God’s design of animals (and humans) is superb. Designed exactly to survive (albeit becoming prey to other species) in the environments God puts them in, as far as I can tell.

17. We watch a fledgling hawk hiding in bushes across the road for several days.
    It’s mother would feed it but, also a Eurasian dove would regularly light and regurgitate for it. I often wonder if it gives doves a pass when hunting.
