  1. God bless him!

Been a og lover almost 80 years. 78 years ago I tried to nuzzle grand dads Britany – while she was eating!-. she nipped my face. Did not stop my love for dogs; just told me let them eat alone!

I will do that for my dog; but I pray to God I will never have to.

My dogs have been, and are, family.

  2. That was really cool. Everyone should learn CPR for this and human reasons. If you are squeamish about mouth-to-mouth (or mouth-to-muzzle in this case) you CAN do compression ONLY CPR and still be helping and may save a life.

All lives are worth the effort, but dogs are a special expression of the love of the Lord. May He bless that man sevenfold for that.

As amazing as it is to see the dog come back, you should be there when you get ROSC in a per son. You should be aware that it doesn’t ‘fix’ the problem and may cause others, but it lets them live to get the other problems fixed. There will be pain and a doctor (or vet) needed immediately, and maybe some vomiting, but its a good day if you need a doctor and not a crematorium.

I think the saying is “A man never stands so tall as when he stoops to help a child”.

I would say he stands pretty tall when he stoops to help an animal as well…

“ehy is the guy more excited than the owner lady.”

…don’t read too much into that. I’ve been at a lot of different kinds of crises and different people react differently to them. Some people run, some people flip out, a few may do something useful, but a lot just get mentally overwhelmed and lock up because they literally don’t know what to do next. They will twitch this way and that, start to do one thing then stop and start to do another, and generally be in the way like hiw this lady kept moving the bicycle around and kinda into the work area. I actually find people like this useful because if you bark (no pun intended) orders at them authoritatively, they usually respond quickly because they NEED to be told what to do. You can use them to get things or call people or keep people away.

Don’t hate on people’s reaction in a crisis because you don’t know which one YOU are until you’re in a crisis. I seen grown ass strong men crumble and tiny little foreign women step up, so I don’t hate on people for what they do and do not do unless they get in the way or become a threat.

Because some become ANGRY too, but this is already too long, so that’s a different subject for another day…

  4. It was common in the farrowing house to find a baby pig that the mom had laid on. If you picked it up and it was still warm, a couple quick rescue breaths would get it started again.
Yes, mouth to mouth with a piglet. Way better than a Lizzo.
