Children’s Art Workshop to Draw “Fat” “Trans” “Non-Binary” and NUDE Model – IOTW Report

Children’s Art Workshop to Draw “Fat” “Trans” “Non-Binary” and NUDE Model

YAF-

Angela DeCarlis, a “non-binary” adjunct art professor at the University of Florida, is organizing a workshop for 20 “trans and nonbinary” children to learn how to draw “diverse models” who are members of the “LGBTQ,” “fat,” and “disabled” communities, according to a lauding report by the UF Alligator

“It’s really important for the models who have been oppressed on the basis of their appearance to have the opportunity to be seen,” the professor told the campus newspaper.

The three-day workshop will feature a live model named Brooke Hull, who identifies as “fat, trans, and non-binary.”

The casting call for nude models encouraged “anybody who’s excited about the idea of posing for artists and who holds at least one oppressed identity or marginalized identity” to apply.

While it may be the case that Hull will come out of the workshop in an “excited” mood, what about the children who are being subjected to this nonsense? Are they attending by choice? Did their parents force them to sign up? Can a minor truly consent to spending three days in a room with a naked woman?

While figure drawing is a widely accepted feature of art programs at the college level, allowing children to participate is not.

  2. I had 4 nude models in my figure drawing class. An older hippie who needed money for pot, a chubby girl, A weird guy that would also yell his beliefs at people in a public square like speakers corner in London. Then there was the tall busty blonde that seemed to take great pleasure pointing her hoo hoo at your head…..I was always in the front row for that one….

  3. So absolutely gross and inappropriate.

My art school had/has Saturday Class for K-12. The only kids that took figure drawing had to get permission from their parents. The models weren’t nude either. They wore full bodysuits (and not skin colored ones). You can see curves and bumps but not full on…everything.

I didn’t see a nude model till freshman year in art school. Most models were…interesting folks. 🫣

  4. There are NO TRANS OR NONBINARY CHILDREN. There are only confused kids being made MORE CONFUSED by abusive and criminal parents, social media, the government, Hollywood, and groups like these groomers. Lock them all up and throw away the keys.

  5. Crisco Christie would make an excellent model for an art class…I can see it – an oil (no watercolor please) painting of a huge round pink body with a black background so the big mound of flesh really stands out.

I’d call it “A Study in Pink Fatness”.
