Daniel Penny indicted in chokehold death of Jordan Neely

Penny did the city a service. Now he will be destroyed by pro-criminal Marxists.

Former Marine Daniel Penny has been indicted in the chokehold killing of Jordan Neely last month, sources told The Post.

A grand jury sitting in Manhattan reached its decision Wednesday, weeks after Neely’s death sparked a national firestorm over Penny’s actions and scrutiny over a mental health system that failed the tragic victim.

Penny, 24, was initially arrested on second-degree manslaughter charges. However, it’s unclear what charges he was indicted on.

Penny, who is free on $100,000 bail, first surrendered himself to cops on May 12 — or nearly two weeks after he laced his arms around the disturbed homeless man’s neck during a chaotic confrontation on an F train in Manhattan.

Penny’s lawyers have said their client acted in self-defense — Neely was allegedly yelling, screaming, and threatening other passengers, according to eyewitnesses.

  1. …apparently autopsy reports are NOT public record in NYC as they are elsewhere.

“You can get an autopsy report for someone if you are a legal family member or an officer of the court.”

…still, seems like at some point some part of it needs to be public as its a court record now too. You need to read those things CLOSE as coroners ARE political animals and WILL slant things to the outcome they want.

You can sometimes see this when you read deeper into the parts the political guy didn’t write. But if all we ever get is the not particularly medical “died of compression of the neck”, then whatever lie they tell will live merrily on…

  2. Even if Penny survives the criminal trial, there will surely be a lawsuit to follow so the worthless family of the worthless POS homeless criminal can “move on up to a dee-lux apartment in the sky”.
