A couple of days ago, near where I live, a big rig driver chased his dog onto the highway in an attempt to save it. He was struck and killed along with the dog. Pretty sad!
I found another suicidal recreational group that I dislike as much as these clowns. Downhill speed skate borders. Oh My God these people are stupid.
Years ago I almost picked one off. I was driving down a four lane street, and at an intersection there was a left turn lane. A city bus was stopped for a red turn arrow in the left lane, but the lights for through traffic were green. I was driving through the intersection right next to the bus doing about 30, when a jaywalking brother cleared the front of the bus and came about a half an inch from walking right into my car. I can still see the look of shock on his face.

In Commiefornia the biggest transgression in this incident was the fact that road stain dude wasn’t wearing a helmet. I’m sure he’ll be fined for that.
I hope his injuries are nothing trivial.
A large percentage of African Americans enjoy attention, hence the loud rap music played on speakers that usually cost more than the “hoopty” they drive, the pimp clothing they wear and being loud and vulgar when in public. They lack respect for others and expect people to defer to their eccentricities. This one received a great deal of attention from that 5000 pound pickup, and most likely those in the emergency room or morgue. LOOK AT ME!

Prediction: the pickup driver will be cited or criminally charged for not slowing to a crawl because Mr. Dindu was there.
Upon further consideration, there is one factor that might mitigate this incident into no charges being pressed. I’ll let you guess what characteristic of the driver might be the stay out of jail card for the person behind the wheel.
In checking the internet just now I don’t see any recent stories on bicyclist getting killed by motorist in Oakland, just this poor father of two struck in a crosswalk in front of his kids last summer by a speeding car.
