Hell of a good job by the officer. His huffing and puffing had me huffing and puffing. He covered a lot of ground and didn’t wait for back up. The Uvalde police department watching this is cursing that officer.

Huffing and puffing and adrenaline and he was still able to hit the target.
Very hot and 30 or so pounds of gear plus 7-8 more for the rifle. Fine job.
They only stop when the second gun arrives.

Tsquared, if my memory is correct this mall is owned by Simon Property Group and they have a blanket NO GUN policy for all their properties. It’s the same property owner where a kid carrying a gun took out a shooter that was coming out of the bathroom (I don’t remember the location), but he didn’t face any charges for breaking their policy. Just shows you should carry where law permits and ignore policy, and you should also carry even where law doesn’t permit, shall not be infringed.
ecp: As I understand it in Texas, if you are (otherwise legally) armed and stop a shooting as the guy you referred to did, everyone tells the property owner “tough s**t.”

I live in Northern California where the vast majority of the population is armed. Our closest mall, where all the central valley shops, and where every one carries a hand cannon, is not marked “No Guns”. Otherwise they’d go broke. Much like Starbucks who doesn’t post that shit either. Back to the mall. An extremely up scale mall. NORDSTROMS is marked no gun if you enter from the street directly into their store. But not if you enter from the mall. No markings on any other store or from any other mall point of access. Bottom line, you need to make concessions if every muther fucker is carrying a gun. Otherwise you go broke. Even if you’re not woke.
I ignore ‘no guns’ signs like I ignore pride signs.
