“BREAD AND DAN FOGELBERG”
OH DAMN BRO, you forgot Peter Frampton. I don’t want to feel like you do bitch. nothing like laying pipe and looking up and seeing Peter Frampton looking down on you. I swear, it reached epidemic proportions. Why do women like anorexic gurly men?

Yacht Rock rocks!
Sometimes I get bored with my usual obscure 80’s new wave’ish jangle pop work tunes. Yacht Rick is my next choice reset music.
In the video, that’s quite the turquoise necklace Glen is wearing!

👆*Rock
(Not sure I’d want to listen to Yacht Rick. He probably wears a neck scarf with a Speedo and drinks too much champagne.)

Best song Glen Campbell ever wrote was ” By the time I get to Pheonix”, best version ever sung is all 18 glorious minutes done by Issac Hayes!

Hey JD, Glen Campbell and Leon Russell? Those guys are both great! Is there anyone that Leon Russell hasn’t played with? Mad Dogs and Englishmen and Joe Cocker is among my favorites! Todays young people don’t have a clue what they’ve missed.

Leon was a member of The Wrecking Crew, as was Glen.
clowns today can’t shred like that … prove me wrong
… i’ll wait

Love that video! Brings back great memories. I sang along because those songs were some of my all time favorites. Bread-David Gates and Glen Campbell together – awesome!

From time to time I check out Wings of Pegasus and in particular the great country guitarists. I used to put up with a raft of shit about my country music collection. It seems that maybe I was ahead of my time or something, because a lot of the folks that used to give me shit are now in CW bands and some were in the really hot local rock/club local bands back in the day and mocked me My really good buddy, who played in some of the hot local bands was just the other day joking about how when I wanted everybody to clear out of my house except the few who were going to bullshit and spin records until sunup, we would put on Hank Williams and they self vamoosed.
I had the shit when it came to vinyl, not the most, but the really cool shit.

What a pleasure to hear actual singers and musicians SING, in their own voices, songs of happiness, sadness, love & etc instead of the whiny, auto-tuned, synthetic mess of crappy lyrics we get from most of today’s s0-called music!
Just like reading classic books that haven’t been woke-ified.
Thanks for all the links!
