Never Heard of This, Yet, It’s Supposed to be “Sweeping the Internet”

The internet certainly needs sweeping.

Newser-

Think of it as the great-grandson of LOL, after ROFL and LMAO. The term is IJBOL, which stands for “I just burst out laughing.” Last month, Mashable christened it the “summer’s ironic term” and now the New York Times is catching up with the trend. The “internet wants to revitalize laughing online with a new term,” writes Shirley Wang. The odd-looking ijbol actually entered the Urban Dictionary in 2009 but then languished, explains Mashable. However, for some inexplicable reason, it caught fire in forums for the music genre K-pop last year and has since “escaped the confines of fandom (and niche ironic circles) and gone mainstream,” writes Elena Cavender.

The point I think I am making is that people are desperate to be unique and relevant, and they end up being neither. They end up being trend followers, thinking it to be unique, but it’s really just being part of a herd– Like being a tranny.

Maybe some people want to be unique and relevant, what do you think a tranny is trying to be? How about an obese black woman called Lezzie, (is that short for lesbian?). The Mulvaney’s want to be unique and relevant, just like the woman who hired him. The only thing “unique” about them, is they’ll be joining others like themselves in Hell. There’s no place in God’s kingdom for abominations and blasphemy. I doubt I would IJBOL when they’re thrown into the Lake of Fire. So much for thinking they were “unique and relevant,” there’s nothing new under the sun.
