  1. Several of my friends growing up lived near Hildebrandt Bayou south of Beaumont, Texas. They would all swim in the bayou during the summer, but the parents insisted that one of the kids must stay on the bridge and be the gator lookout.

Yeah, even though alligators aren’t a problem where I live, we do have the occasional water moccasin. Take those away and you still have dirty man-made lakes full of debris and stumps from when it used to be dry land.

Not only do I agree with you, but emphatically say JUST DON”T DO IT. You’ll never regret not swimming in a Texas lake. Go ahead and ski, but get back in the boat soon after. Good luck on not hitting those stumps while skiing when the water is low.

    With a rifle, right?

    RIGHT?

If not, bring a camera for youtube to see why you shouldn’t swim there. You’re going to have to learn how to blur spots on your video when the action starts.

    Crystal clear ice blue water.
Enough chlorine to kill ALL of Fauchi’s SARS-COV virus in entire world.
Certified gator free. Gator been protected for too long. Need to
start killing them off. Never dive or swim in an unknown lake or pond!
Dude dove out of a tree into a pond.Hit his head on a large stump.Broken neck,

Nope, no rifle. Just a yell to the kids below swimming that a gator was approaching. Don’t worry, though. Most of those kids were Cajun kids. It was the gator that needed to be afraid.
