I stumbled across this movie after watching the Frasier trailer that Fur posted here (it was a suggestion from YouTube). Jim Caviezel was one of the stars and I had never heard of this movie from 2003, so I clicked on it to see what it was about. Started watching it and couldn’t stop.
It’s an hour and thirty minutes. Here is the tagline: Twelve-year-old David escapes from a Communist concentration camp with little more than a compass, a sealed letter, a loaf of bread, and instructions to carry the letter to Copenhagen, Denmark.

Looked good, might have watched it but it was blocked to Canada.
Read “North To Freedom” by Ann Holm, the book the movie is based on, back in grade school.
