There may be a lot of support for Ukraine in Congress but not much anywhere else. If Washington were only interested in American security and economy Congress might have more respect.

McCarthy said there was no side deal concerning more Ukraine funding, because by the time the question was asked it was a done deal that McCarthy supported.
