DM-Incredible moment Good Samaritan ex-con John Lally saves wounded cop after highway chase ends in a car crash and deadly shootout in Texas
- A Good Samaritan jumped into action during a car chase on Highway 59 in Texas
- The suspect driving a stolen vehicle got out and began shooting at the police – that is when John Lally, 40, came to the rescue of an injured officer
- Lally – a former criminal himself – managed to capture the entire dramatic shoot-out on video
I have to give the guy more credit than I would have done myself, especially after he served time. Had it been our local dumb fvck 2 bit local cop. I would have stood there and told him, I’ll flag down some black person to help him when they drive by. Sorry to say I have been victimized by our local law enforcement and have a very bitter attitude to them since they broke down my door and ransacked my house on a bogus swatting call. They stole my computer and after a year they said it was misplaced and didn’t know where it was. So I’m out $8200 [video editing machine] and all my accounts and passwords were now gone. Fortunately, I printout my accounts and passwords and keep them off site and was able to change them after they said sorry, wrong person.
I have no problem driving past a dying cop.
…that’s good…but it’s not “saving the cop who arrested you” good…

“Look at me, hold my hand”, he’s trying to keep the cop from going into shock.
