This is the tower he jumped off of – The Macau Tower.
He was a 56-year-old Japanese man. He died a few hours later. Coincidence?
The Japanese man began to experience shortness of breath just hours after the leap at 4.30PM on December 3rd and later stopped breathing.
He was taken to the Conde S. Januario Hospital for emergency treatment but was later pronounced dead.
Hong Kong news outlet, HK01, reported that the man had no superficial injuries on his body.
Skypark by AJ Hackett, who operate the bungee jump and other activities at Macau Tower, states on its website that clients should disclose any medical conditions they might have to its staff before taking part in any of its activities.
What?
I was just a momentary rush of blood to the brain…

Does that include certain vaxinations???
Looking forward to the autopsy. I expect they’ll find he scrambled his egg from the crown to the base with that last stunt.
Jab & Jump…It’ll get you every time.
This type of activity has been off my to-do list long before 56. Never made it onto my to-do.
I can’t watch, I don’t like heights. I would’ve shit my pants the whole way down. My son on the other hand when he was in S. Africa on a mission trip in 2002 once bungee jumped off the world’s highest bungee jump from a bridge and loved every minute of it. He was also 20 at the time and thought that he was invulnerable. Now that he has 3 kids he’s not quite as invulnerable anymore.
Oh well, there goes the bucket list.
Slow news day?
My husband is/was an adrenaline junkie.
He bungee jumped and did the canyon swing in New Zealand.
My red flag popped up when I saw a cemetery located quite close to the base of the jump platform.
I figured it was there for the ones who didn’t make it.
I think there could have been a better choice of music…like maybe the Pointer Sisters – JUMP!

The thrill of suicide without the commitment.
Mostly.
Do they give out honorary future Darwin Awards for those who actually survive bungee jumping?
He won’t be doing that again, they just lost a customer.
It would be poetic if it really was the last thing on his bucket list.
He was 5’3” when he jumped, 6’9” when he died.
That short video certainly did NOT portray a 56 yo china MAN……..
