It is the end of an era in Foxborough. After 24 seasons as head coach, the New England Patriots and Bill Belichick have decided to part ways, according to CBS Sports NFL Insider Jonathan Jones. I haven’t watched football in three or four yrs now. I have to wonder if the forced diversity hiring has something to do with the projected 10 coaches leaving?

Of those 10, most deserve it. The surprise was Pete Caroll of the Seahawks, not only a Super Bowl champion but has a winning record. Nick Seriani of Philly was just in the Superbowl, now there is talk that if he doesn’t win this weekend, he is out.
The good coaches can always find work and Belichick can have just about any job he wants.

Right! To his credit he is much smarter than Sid Gillman! Sid bad mouthed the only QB to win 2 Super Bowls before Tom. Norm honestly told the Press Sid was dumb and called dumb plays. Sid got fed up being humiliated and traded Norm to the worst team in NFL. LOST EVERY GAME before Norm. 2 years later won Super Bowl. More signifiant Norm was the only QB to beat Bart Starr in a play off game! Bart only lost 1 play off game that to norm.
Sid’s Rams fell to the bottom of the NFL. He was so desperate he traded an entire team – 11 men -for Ollie Mason. Ollie gained 200 years a game before Sid. For Sid he only gained 100!

To my great regret My LA Chargers hired Sid. Again he showed his lack f football knowledge! Sent the Oxy QB to NY where he wan Afl championships; before election to House as GOP.

Why not? Old age catches up with everybody. Some of his success is due to brilliant in game adjustments. Maybe he cant think as fast as before
And after 22 years, everybody has seen all his tricks. And you cant say its the fault of bad players, because he’s also the GM
I think he should retire.
