Sounds like they have a bunch of bad ones. Probably Democrats.
I recently went through this painting my son’s home. The one I recall at Lowes was Bright Whites.
We ended up painting the entire house in Platinum (from Home Depot). It’s a nice neutral color, like slightly more gray than silver, but in the living room with how the sun shines in you’d swear it’s baby blue, lol. It looks like a nursery.

Most whites are trustworthy. It’s the browns that are questionable.
Brown-to-black loamy soils are the best, particularly if underlying it is a mineral-rich, clay transition layer. (Sorry, I’ve got 2024’s Spring on my mind…)

The wife and I are DIY to the max. And we love Lowes. Home Depot not so much. Now that could change next project. LOL

I hate Home Depot and Lowes.
They were both okay at best about 20 years ago. Now they suck. Not a single employee knows what’s going on, stock doesn’t match online inventory, simple items you’d expect to find aren’t there, and all kinds of products have become ineffective to live with corporate standards to be green. Most of the time I go to either I leave empty handed.
Someone tell me where to find a piece of glass greater than 36″ long. Hardware stores used to to this on the regular. Now it’s all plexi for longer dimensions. Glass you now need to call an “expert,” or find a specialized glass shop.
I just painted a Condo I am flipping in Chantilly White with trim in Snow White. I pumped up the lighting putting the maximum “Sunlight” LED lighting in all of the fixtures. The six year old carpets were steam cleaned and everything else was spit polished. The white on white brightens up the Condo making the rooms look larger.
Should have used BudLite Yellow
