There’s a ton of YouTube videos of people hearing this with their jaws dropping as they double check the date it was made in disbelief.

My bad. I should have watched the video before commenting. My above comment was in reference to his 1965 “If I were the Devil”.

He was a staple of my childhood. Listened to him every weekday when I went home for lunch from elementary school.
Stand by..for news and Good Day when he was done. Can still hear him whenever I think of him.

We all saw it coming. Yet we continued trusting the GOPe.

Much older. Still true.
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.”
-Marcus Tullius Cicero, c.40 BC

I started listening to Paul Harvey in the early to mid 60’s whenever my grandfather or dad would have it on the radio, generally early in the morning and then again for 15 minutes at noon preceded by the playing of the national anthem on radio station KGA AM 1510 in Spokane, sponsored by Dye Hawley mobile homes. And I continued to listen to him thruout the 70’s and beyond until his death in early 2009 just before barry became President. He broadcast up until a less than a week before he died in his early 90’s and he was an American radio legend. He was the first one that I heard from about DB Cooper and the hijacking of that aircraft on the night before Thanksgiving 1972 on my way home from Portland to Spokane. Armed forces radio played him early in the morning over the radio on the mess deck on board the Kitty Hawk. I miss his broadcasts; he had a great well over 50 + year radio news career that was always interesting and I especially loved his Rest of the story and the dumb criminal of the day news. Thanks Grandpa and my dad for turning me into a lifelong Paul Harvey fan.

The west has been taxing its citizens WELL ABOVE 25% for a very long time.
We are at about 52% to 56% in the Great F#cked North.
