Libertarians Chose a “Former” Democrat as Their Presidential Candidate

The Libertarian Party has chosen 38-year-old Chase Oliver as its 2024 presidential nominee.

An openly gay former Democrat who once supported Barack Obama, Oliver used his victory speech to rail against the U.S. “war machine” and demand an end to the “genocide in Gaza,” according to the Washington Examiner.

After author Michael Rectenwald was eliminated from the race during Sunday night’s voting, the final vote was between Oliver and “none of the above,” in which he ultimately prevailed with around 60 percent support. He announced economist Mike ter Maat as his running mate. More

  1. And I catch flak for writing that every Libertarian I have ever met had his head up his ass…

    By the way, what’s Aleppo?

  2. ^^^^^ Wow. I’m keeping my mouth shut. I will say this, we’re on the brink of losing this country, and the last damn thing I’m concerned about is where someone sticks their dick.

  3. Donald Trump defeated by former and future Democrat, Faggy McFagFace.

Libertarian Credo: We don’t care what you do in your bedroom, unless it’s missionary.

  4. Libertarianism with the capital l is an exercise in mental masturbation, very pleasant, takes up time and some tissues, ultimately unproductive of anything valuable. Some ideas espoused by libertarians are worthy and worthwhile but they’re embedded in that matrix of senselessness.

  5. Walter, I had a conversation with one of them who was running for Governor here. I told him I wouldn’t vote for someone who supported killing babies, gay marriage, etc. He tried to explain his position that Government shouldn’t have a say about a woman’s body or who you could marry. So I asked him if the Government shouldn’t have a say about murder or having multiple wives? He started mumbling about there have to be some laws, especially laws where someone’s life is taken, because that effects us all. Well, a baby’s life is taken and although it may have no effect on me, neither does it have an effect on me if some gang banger kills another gang banger, but he’s still charged with murder. He got mad and told me to not vote for him and I told him I wasn’t planning on it, but maybe he should think about why almost nobody else would vote for him either and it isn’t because he’s a third party, it’s because they honestly stand for nothing.
