He [The Incredible Hulk actor and body builder, Lou Ferrigno] has been married to Carla Ferrigno, an actress and manager, since 1980, and the couple had three children together. In multiple court filings, filled with Hulk references, the family exchanged cross claims of abuse.
In a September petition to become sole trustee of the Ferrigno family trust, Lou Ferrigno claimed his wife is suffering from mental decline.
“Even the Hulk must cope with the challenges of life in caring for a spouse with advanced dementia,” he said in the petition.
Six days after that filing, Carla filed for divorce, with a domestic violence restraining order in which she claimed her spouse was abusive and controlling. More
Just sayen, I’ve met this guy several times when I was a young whipper snapper. He was hired to help get the Golds Gym up and running in San Jose. He’s stone cold deaf. And one of the most easy going kindest peeps I’ve ever met. In fact, if he turned mean I hold Arnold responsible. Disclaimer. You never know what people do behind closed doors, but I’m saying, from my brief encounters, this guy doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Unless he turns green obviously.
Family fights can be the worse, it’s no wonder the cops hate domestic disturbance calls.

He lived in Santa Monica for decades, just moved to central California a couple of years ago. I saw him a couple of times, but several friends knew him well and say he was a really nice guy.
There have been a few other cases, I think Captain & Tennile and Ric Ocasek/Paulina Porizkova where one suffered in later age and the actions of the healthy one seemed odd, but possibly for the best. So it would not surprise me if this were the case. They were married for more than 40 years.
