The Bible describes burning sulfur and fire raining down from the sky which permanently destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19:24). Is there any evidence still left in the geological record that matches the Bible’s description of what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah?

When them sulfur balls come flyin’
Everybody’s gonna be a-die-in.
Anyone want to explain why God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah? He has a plan for those who are embracing it.
@Goldenfoxx- Yea, I pretty much think God let his feelings be known on that subject……
Yea, well what about San Fran?
That’s a fascinating video.
Josephus said that the ashes were still visible from Masada circa 70 A D
The number of archeological discoveries that confirm Biblical accounts grows exponentially with each passing year. The most fascinating feature of the Sodom dig site is that there clearly is no evidence of civilization for over a 700 year period post-destruction, and the evidence for the micro-burst is the Trinitite (so-called because the sand/minerals have been melted just like the Trinity, NM, atomic testing site. And can you believe the “coincidence” that the place name “Trinity” is so obvious?) The mineral substances within Trinitite “boiled”, but for only less than a second, allowing for it to form a shell over the substrate like pottery glazing. And archeologists said that the field strata of Sodom was as though it had been through a huge food processor; nothing whole as in other sites.
I love seeing all the latest stuff from the archeologists in the Holy Land.
Believe it or not Ron Wyatt discovered this a many years ago, it’s been suppressed.
That was cool.
He’s right, the closer you look the more God and the Bible are shown to be true.
Eric Metaxas was talking about how scientists, real scientists, say the chances of a planet supporting life are so small because so many things have to be just right that it makes creation by God obvious.

The Bible has a beginning and an end, God’s Will controlled the entire story of creation and how God will restore it back to it’s original perfection after the machinations and deceptions of the “fallen” angels and their ilk.
Sadly, the “seed” war (see Genesis 3:15) has cost much human suffering and anguish. Until a person understands this verse and how God has triumphed (through Jesus Christ, the seed of the woman Eve) over the serpent will eternal peace and reconciliation.
Blessed Mary the Ever Virgin rectified Eve’s Original Sin just as Christ Jesus rectified Adam’s Original Sin. Both in permanent triumph over Satan.

Ron Wyatt was exposed as a complete fraud.
Had me fooled for a while.
Sad, but the world is what it is.
But that doesn’t take away from what is true which is the scriptures and the testimonies of the saints of then and us now.
Where God Came Down
Buy his book and give this guy some love for his fantastic archeological research. There doesn’t seem to be any doubt of the locations. God showed Moses the sites of his kingdom, and Viola! They are actually where they said they were!

Nature is incapable of planning and designing anything. Nature is a product of God’s power. “Nature” is a word that has been substituted for God by people who won’t consider a power greater than their severely limited intellects.
A “natural” explanation of life requires pure chance and chance can’t produce the designs we see in every bit of life around us. It’s mathematically impossible. I’m no mathematician or statistician so don’t take my word for it. Dig into the controversy between mainstream biology and ID and you’ll see.
The usual suspects have hoodwinked us: The media, corrupted science, atheists, the “educational” industries, some religions, and probably government.
