Kamala Harris was a relatively obscure 29-year-old prosecutor who dated Willie Brown, a 60-year-old candidate for mayor of San Francisco.
Brown recently voiced his disapproval of Harris in Politico, saying she has “the Hillary syndrome” and “people don’t like her,” adding that it’s an insurmountable obstacle.
Brown verified the rumor that he, then-girlfriend Kamala Harris, and her team were flown to New York City for a meeting by then-business mogul Donald Trump when they were attending a Harvard event in the 1990s.
Despite Harris’s absence, Brown claims to have a photo of the two of them on Trump’s jet, suggesting that they may have met.
Although Brown was still married throughout their time together, he and his estranged wife, Blanche, lived in different homes. Brown was widely seen as the most influential politician in California during their time together.
Although Brown and Harris’s relationship ended after a year, he was there for Harris whenever she needed him, especially during her time in politics.
