The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said on Friday it has approved AstraZeneca’s nasal spray flu vaccine for self-administration, making it the first of its kind.

FluMist is the first vaccine to prevent influenza that does not need to be administered by a healthcare provider, the regulator said.

The flu is a common and contagious respiratory disease caused by influenza viruses that typically circulates in the U.S. during the fall and winter.

AstraZeneca plans to make the vaccine available through a third-party online pharmacy. Customers will have to complete a screening and eligibility assessment when they order FluMist. More

  1. Red Alert! This “drug them at all costs” medical industry will not stop it’s foolish attempt to make more money with all their snake oil remedies that actually make us sicker. The longer this goes on, the less I want anything to do with doctors.

Now, they are eliminating the doctors so you can dose yourself. What a brilliant idea … NOT.

I spent 16 years in doctor’s office and hospital settings. I witnessed the change from medical professionals running the clinics and hospitals to quickly being replaced by businessmen. It’s all about money now.

  2. There are several of us that say’s no thanks and stick it up your horn blower before we voluntarily stuff any of that shit up our noses. The FDA must be getting serious about killing off the rest of us who have the brains to say ‘NO’

  5. Did Big Pharma think we’d simply forget about the so-called covid “vaccine”? How silly of them. I don’t think they can go back to that well again. They poisoned it.

I hope more and more Americans are taking a closer look at their prescription regimen and asking themselves if the side effects are worth the convenience of their stubborn attitudes about life-style changes. So many things we can do to ameliorate all these “syndromes”, starting with eating right and being active. It’s sickening (no pun intended) to be in a crowd of people and noticing that more than half (sometimes WAY more) are either overweight or obese; especially all the kids. It would be great to come up with some kind of no-cost incentive(s) that would turn our culture around. I’m encouraged that some school districts, for example, are banning phones in classrooms and that kids report liking the time it frees up for them to enjoy being with their families. It’s a start.

    Anyway…

  6. PSA on Hugh Hewitt’s show still pushing the suicide jab. Get it with your flu shot they say. What The Hell? There are millions of us who no longer trust anyone in the medical trades because of what Fauci got away with. Give Fauci all the shots.

  7. I have a minor cold right now that started a couple of days ago. The usual symptoms of a runny nose, sneezing, coughing, headache etc. I bought some OTC flu med at the store this morning. My kids are more worried about it than I am. but I’ll be OK with some rest. And there is still no way in hell that I will take the flu/COVID combo that’s being advertised all over TV right now. I had COVID two years ago and spent 10 days in the hospital so I’m good since my immune system can take care of it and big pharma can shove all of this malarkey and scare tactics up their ass.

  8. geoff – we had COVID for the holidays in 22/23. We self tested and it was positive. Tired, congested and achy for a couple of days (usual flu symptoms) then we got better. Haven’t had it since. We had the shots (1, 2 and the booster) and nothing after that. We still wonder what happened to the Flu in 2020. COVID is just the Flu with a fancy acronym.
    Get better soon!
