Lebanon’s Hezbollah group confirmed on Saturday that its leader and one of its founders, Hassan Nasrallah, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut the previous day.
A statement Saturday said Nasrallah “has joined his fellow martyrs.” Hezbollah vowed to “continue the holy war against the enemy and in support of Palestine.”
Nasrallah, who led Hezbollah for more than three decades, is by far the most powerful target to be killed by Israel in weeks of intensified fighting with Hezbollah. All the happenings lately have got me wondering about all the electronic gadgets we have, especially all the junk from China. Maybe it won’t blow up, but what if stuff just stops working? What if there’s a bug waiting in internet servers to just shut down? If the internet went down for any extended amount of time we would really be screwed.

“Hezbollah Officially Declares War: We now officially declare all-out war against both Israel and its allies and call on all Arab citizens in the occupied territories to vacate their homes in the north, as Operation Response begins today.”
