Teri Garr, the Oscar-nominated actress who capitalized on her adorable flightiness in such films as Tootsie and Young Frankenstein before her career was derailed by multiple sclerosis, died Tuesday. She was 79.

  1. While she was a funny actress and a beautiful woman, her courage through her struggle with MS was what I remember most about her.
    I loved her in Young Frankenstein.

  2. “What great knockers.” She was wonderful in an episode of the first Star Trek series too. Wonderful as the wife in Close Encounters, and simply charming in Young Frankenstein. What a horrible disease to end with. NEVER only trust western medicine for answers to your medical issues.

    I agree. The Black Stallion has such incredible cinematography. The black horse running along the beach is unforgettable. Almost unbelievable. And the story is one of the best in a movie I’ve ever seen.
