Quincy Jones, the multi-talented music titan whose vast legacy ranged from producing Michael Jackson’s historic “Thriller” album to writing prize-winning film and television scores and collaborating with Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles and hundreds of other recording artists, has died at 91.
Jones’ publicist, Arnold Robinson, says he died Sunday night at his home in the Bel Air section of Los Angeles, surrounded by his family. More
He produced It’s My Party by Leslie Gore. She was quoted as saying back in the ‘90’s: “If we had known people would have still been listening to it thirty years later, we would have done a better job.”
Very talented man. RIP
His album, Walking In Space (1969), is a must!
His body of work is almost too large to grasp. Quincy now passes into legend. where he’s actually been for some time.
RIP Sir.
You left a legacy.
He wrote the theme song for Ironside.

RickeyG, I bought a new copy of that album in the late 80’s, on advice of a friend; the album was defective, having a bad warp, and I haven’t had a turntable that would track it. Someday I’ll buy a new reissue.
RIP Quincy Jones.
An incredible talent
A talented man who made a lot of talented people shine beyond what they were capable of. A rare talent that will be missed.
Was he going to testify against P-Diddy?
