Gateway Pundit- On Friday, Governor Kathy Hochul signed a bill repealing a 1907 law that made cheating on your spouse a crime.
Hochul signed a bill that repealed a 117-year-old law that made adultery a class B misdemeanor that could land cheaters in jail for 90 days.
Hochul shared, “While I’ve been fortunate to share a loving married life with my husband for 40 years — making it somewhat ironic for me to sign a bill decriminalizing adultery — I know that people often have complex relationships.” more
Does she have plans?
Since the law was not enforced after about 1964, adultery was legal de facto. Still, I would never have expected this.
Just because my state is the land of man whores and sluts at every level of the social ladder, doesn’t mean I have to join in or believe in such debauchery and soul corrupting behavior. I choose to live my life as an example to my children and theirs that it’s not all about how you feel, but how you love god and treat others.
Happy Thanksgiving all
Several years ago a state (and I forget which) charged and tried a woman for adultery. I dont recall the details but I recall the article stating virtually no one is charged with that anymore
Oh, great. As immoral Democrats, now we can cheat on our spouses with a clear conscience!
“”You can’t legislate morality”
So, which one of the other ten commandments will she break next. Or has she already defacto removed them already. God will not be mocked, harpie lady, his 10 commandments are the backbone of all morality something of which you lack entirely. I’d be willing to bet that most New Yorkers want their last governor Cuomo back in a heartbeat, flaws and all.
Whut did they call the bill? FAFO?
I’m just following the LAW!
“Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.”
-Aleister Crowley, “The Book of the Law”
good for her husband i guess, who the F would ever wanna stick their D in that horrendous looking thing. probably have to snort lines of cialis or levitra to get anywhere near a hard-on
It should NEVER have been put into law in the first place. I guess the NY legislature and her got ONE thing right so far. The taxpayers should NEVER be on the hook for someone’s behavior unless it directly INJURES someone’s person or property.
