IBT:
A Michelin-starred restaurant in Washington D.C. has unveiled a luxury “water menu” that features a $95 bottle of melted water from a Canadian iceberg.
The “water menu” at The Inn at Little Washington, which has three Michelin stars, features different drinking options from glaciers and water sources around the world, as reported by Eater.
The menu features 25 different waters, from Finland to New Zealand. The menu also includes some American options, such as California and Texas. more
Some fool will buy it too
“There’s a sucker born every minute”
I invented water.
Prove it.
OK, what’s next? Exotic air? An international odor menu?
It would be funny if it turned out to be bottled water from Costco to which they add a touch of flavors. 😂
Just for the record, The Inn at Little Washington isn’t in Washington, D.C. It’s in Washington, Virginia.
@Uncle Al
You are correct. It’s about an hour outside of the dc shithole.
There is an apple orchard nearby that has enormous apples that are great for pies….one apple per pie. I can’t remember the name of the variety.
I’ve got some to bottle and sell ‘em…..straight from the Porcelain Springs, located in the small, secluded area of Loo.
Don’t mind the slight yellow tinge…
See – globull warming has some benefits (for rich people only…).
The market will decide. Far better than a politician telling us all that we have to drink this overpriced yellow snow melt.
watch out where the huskies go, don’t you drink that yellow snow…f. zappa
Back when a bunch of us were living in Alaska we often times used glacier ice in our drinks. We have since found out that glacier ice isn’t as clean as you would think it is.
“The menu also includes some American options, such as California and Texas.”
What, nothing from New Jersey? How about something from East Palestine, Ohio?
Jethro, Al. Some nice class III-III+ whitewater in the area too. Rush, Covington and Thornton Rivers
A fool and his money….
It’s really no different than the no talent Hollywood bullshit artists who were paying astronomical sums for deserts that had gold in them. You show me someone who is trying to buy the illusion of class and I’ll show you a cheap Jack, crass and tawdry piece of shit every time.
Same crowd that pays thousands of dollars for fish eggs.
A slight hint of Dinosaur Piss and Walrus dump…
“…then you drink it” – Chief Dan George, Josey Wales
I collected water from the Exit glacier in Alaska during a hike. the idea was to try it out. after almost 5 days the water still was cloudy from the suspended rock flour and there was half an inch that had settled in the bottom. tossed it. guessing they are filtering the hell out of the glacier and ice berg melt to make it drinkable. wouldn’t pay for this however.
Ahhh,more dumbness!
Reminds me of the old Penn & Teller show “Bullshit”. They set up a restaurant with a “fine water menu”. These idiot people were ordering this so called expensive water & were having orgasms over how great it was. Turned out, it was from a hose in the back of the establishment.
