House Ethics Committee Tries Its Best to Destroy Matt Gaetz

The House Ethics Committee’s final report on its investigation into former Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., found that he engaged in a long list of conduct that violates House Rules and some that are potentially criminal offenses at the state level.

The committee released its 42-page report Monday morning after a lengthy investigation. 

“The Committee determined there is substantial evidence that Representative Gaetz violated House Rules and other standards of conduct prohibiting prostitution, statutory rape, illicit drug use, impermissible gifts, special favors or privileges, and obstruction of Congress,” the report reads. More

  1. It was decided that, even though they hated Gaetz very badly, Biden’s DOJ wouldn’t prosecute because they didn’t believe the witness, etc.

    But this congress decided to release the report anyway.
    Well I guess the rest of congress won’t mind if their reports were leaked. True accusations or not. Right?

  2. Gaetz did set himself up by having a wild time in his 20s. The Mike Pence personal policy of not having lunch with a woman other than his wife was to avoid false claims, not because he feared temptation. Gaetz’ lifestyle left him open to any claims somebody wanted to make – and he did party wildly, even if legally.
