The states broke as a joke. The feds are currently paying all unemployment claims. They raised my company with holding rates, and every ones elses who run a payroll, to pay back a loan to the feds they defaulted on. Newsom filed a bogus state of emergency claim over one case of bird flue and tried to collect free money from the Feds. Rejected. This states so far in debt Newsom can’t give our money away to illegals anymore. If he’s not asleep at the wheel maybe we’d be better off if he were.

No matter whose homes were destroyed, I’m praying today for everyone’s well being. I especially pray that no one is so concerned about preserving their home or business that they risk their lives over stuff.
Our God works in mysterious ways and there seems to be a perfect storm happening on may levels here. Of course the perfect weather storm which prevented firefighters from containing the fire in its early hours. Then the perfect storm of a derelict and negligent governor and mayor, both of whom acted in careless ways that directly affected the conditions present and prevented a full response in any event.
I believe our God will use every aspect of this disaster to make his existence known to both those directly affected and those observing all of this.
Gavin Newsom’s fecklessness is already being highlighted, especially his ridiculous stubborn response to common sense solutions made apparent from previous terrible wild fires, all motivated by his cult of political ideology. We are looking, I think, at the moment when Californians — as the majority of Americans in the rest of the country declared in the GE — realize they have had “enough!” of a state government responsible for the demise of their pursuit of happiness. It is heartbreaking for we who are on the west coast to see the California we’ve always adored for its magical places, become so ruined by people like Newsom.
The only thing that would make Newsom any more loathsome is if he mentions any fears of the fire’s “carbon footprint.”

That extra pay role tax that the working people (not illegals and welfare recipients) have to pay, doubles every year till that $22 billion loan is paid off. currently it is $21 extra a month. next year it’s $42, the year after it is $84 etc. I think that since this was greasy gavins idea he and all the CA. politicians who thought this was a good idea should have a lien placed on all of there personal property to help pay it off. You know make them pay for their failures like the rest of us have to.

I can tell you this, I sure as hell don’t know why businesses are paying for it. For the pleasure of doing business in California I guess. I totally agree. Place some liens on these bastards property. This will eventually chase more businesses out of California. I compete against businesses in every other state that are in the same market we are. That increase is per employee too. If you have say 50 employees that’s 25K annually. Next year 50K. etc. It’s bull shit caused by their lack of ability to manage jack shit. We don’t elect the best and the brightest. Mainly due to the people that are getting their homes burnt right now.
